HostBooks wanted to create a SaaS based Accounting application that could compete and beat established players in the Accounting landscape.
The application needed to be highly secure and scalable and needed to work for both US and India markets. The solution needed to be available on the Web, Desktop as well as mobile platforms.

Our Solution
We created a microservice based SaaS application with DB per tenet architecture so as to provide a clear separation of data for all the tenets. The application was developed using J2EE tech stack and deployed on AWS infra. The accounting application integrated with other systems based on configurations to allow full flexibility to the user to pick and choose the services they required.
Hybrid mobile application was developed using React Native technology and Desktop application was developed using Electron framework.
The desktop application provided access to essential services in offline mode as well. The RESTful services developed using J2EE stack was consumed by Angular frontend for web and same services were reused for Mobile and desktop applications.
